Wilderness EMT, National Registry of EMTs.

Lander Landscape:

This is a UFO. Turned out to be a star...

Just spent a month in Lander Wyoming for an intense session of Basic Life Support. While teaching the cirriculum of the national EMT-Basic, this course concentrated on accidents in the backcountry or being a day or more away from the EMS(Ambulances, Hospitals, etc.) we are all used to in big cities. In my line of work, it is possible to spend multiple days with an injured friend, guide or client in very inhospitable environments. Passing this course has been a huge step for me, and a crucial component for my "Career."

See the link to the WIlderness Medicine Institute in my links section.
